As the sun rose higher in the sky above the majestic Himalayas, a beautiful rainbow of colour circled around our bright star. This is formed by sunlight interacting with ice crystals suspended within the earths atmosphere. Over 16 days we witnessed some amazing scenes, but seeing this sun halo was definitely one of the highlights that nature offered up to us.
